Shipping, Repairs & Returns

Shipping Policy: 

We try hard to ship orders within 48 hours of receiving them.  However, QuitKick systems are imported from the U.K., and international delays occasionally impact our ability to fulfill orders on a timely basis. Please be patient.  If you have a horse for whom a veterinarian has ordered stall rest, please contact us for information on receiving a loaner unit while you await the arrival of your purchased unit.

Return  Policy: 

  • If, in the first thirty days after you receive your QuitKick system, you believe it is not functioning properly, please call us.  Most "malfunctions" are actually installation errors, which we will be happy to help you correct.  If, during our conversation with you, we determine that the unit is malfunctioning, we will issue you a Return Authorization.  When we have received your return, a replacement system will be sent to you at our expense via UPS Ground.
  • If you have installed a QuitKick System and it fails to stop the type of kicking for which it was designed, you have thirty days from the date the system was delivered to you to contact us for a Return Authorization Code. Systems returned without an Authorization Code are not eligible for refunds of any kind.
  • If you purchase a QuitKick System and change your mind about your purchase before you install it, you may return the unused product, in its original condition and original packaging, within 30 days of the date you received it.  Once the system is received and inspected by us, you will receive a refund of the purchase price, less the cost to ship the unit to you and a 15% restocking fee. 
  • Products that have been used, damaged, altered or modified in any way are not eligible for returns, replacements, or refunds except as outlined above.

Repair Policy:

If you suspect your QuitKick system is not operating properly, please call. Replacement parts are available for purchase in our online store and come with clear installation instructions. As a service to our customers, we are available at no charge -via phone, text, or video conferencing - to help diagnose problems and to guide you through installing replacement parts, 

If you prefer to send your unit to us for repair, please package it carefully and ship it insured for the replacement value of the system to:

Be sure to include system sensors, chargers, batteries, etc., so we can properly assess the system's functioning.  

Repairs are billed in 15 minute increments,at a rate of $60/hour, plus the cost of parts or materials.  


A word about maintaining your system:

It is important to keep the QuitKick battery charged and maintain water levels (with anti-freeze in cold areas/seasons) so that the system remains functional.  Allowing the system battery to run down completely will render it unable to hold a charge.  Check the system charge regularly, even when the unit is turned off and out of use.
